Preventive Measures
Address the teller only when it is your turn, and under no circumstances should you approach the teller when there is someone else in front.
Even if you know the staff at the branch due to frequent contact, you should never approach tellers to greet them because they could get distracted and it may cause delays or misinterpretations by other customers.
If you need information about any banking operation that you are about to perform, go to customer service or to the executives' desks for orientation, but never address bank tellers.
Before leaving the teller, make sure you have your receipt and check that what is printed by the system reflects correctly the type of operation performed, the deposit, the withdrawal or the payment and the account or contract number, as well as the correct amount and date when the operations were performed.
Be careful! You can be offered money for cashing your check so you may not loose time waiting in line. This type of offer always has an illicit connotation. Do not accept it. Avoid being a victim of a crime.
The suggestions in this text are preventive, so their application must attend your personal decision, without any responsibility for BANAMEX.
